Where to find us and how to care for your mohair.
I raise my flock in Abaurrea Alta, at Gartzelai. Abaurrea Alta is a village on the eastern edge of the Aezkoa valley. There, on the NA-140 at kilometre 21, you will find the fold and the flock.
Washing. It is best to wash your mohair by hand in cool water (no more than 30 °C) with a small amount of mild detergent. If you use a machine, choose a low temperature and low speed, and wash the garment in a mesh bag.
Drying. Lay it flat to dry, in the shade, to avoid stretching.
Storage. Moths love mohair. Keep small bags of aromatic herbs in your wardrobe and air the garments from time to time.
